Sunra Titan:

Looking for a great gray or black stud can be a time consuming endeavor.  We finally found him in Minnesota at Sunrise River Alpacas.  Titan has everything we were looking for.  A strong solid conformation, fine fiber (20.1 microns), with good density and lots of consistent crimp and a background loaded with true black and grays.  The judges confirmed our initial appraisal by awarding Titan a first place ribbon at the 2004 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival in Madison, Wisconsin and a second place ribbon at the 2004 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree in Mason City, Iowa (the judge stated that fiber and conformation were so similar that he had to award first place based on presence- the first place alpaca already had started breeding, so he had a better presence at the time).  Titan has 6 cria on the ground, all are gray.
